CDC Ventures makes products for small business lenders that make financing easier. Our flagship product, Ventures, is a loan processing and portfolio management tool that has become one of the top resources for the Certified Development Company (CDC) industry.
Vice President of Software Development
Tom is the computer nerd. He brings two decades of leadership and innovation to the CDC Ventures team. He was a founding partner of ItWerks Software and creator of Pinnacle, a software solution that served the SBA industry for many years. Add in engineering roles at Farallon Capital Management and CAM Systems and Organic and you see how his broad technical experience is an asset to CDC. Tom loves spending time with his wife and 3 kids, competitive games, and IPA.
Chief Executive Officer
Cat is the captain. Cat and CDC Ventures and CDC Small Business Finance go all the way back to 1994. She's responsible for too many things to list, but mainly paves the way so we can create the best technology for small business lenders. She's got the financial industry experience and technical insight to provide the roadmap for Ventures+ and future lending products. Cat loves spending time with her 2 daughters on their Texas ranch and being a fearless outdoorswoman.
Director of Sales & Support
Miriam has all the answers. She is a 20+ year veteran of the lending industry. Her past roles in loan processing, closing, and supporting loan servicing give her the backshop experience needed to truly understand the life of a small business loan. With her technical expertise and unsurpassed customer service you'll quickly understand why she's a CDC Ventures superstar. Supporting our clients is her mission. Miriam loves spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and collecting shoes.
